Castro Convertible Coffee Table
This is a mid-century (1960s I believe) coffee table that raises up and folds out to become a dinner table, perfect for a studio apartment or a smaller 1-bedroom. Or even for backup table space for entertaining. When expanded top is 48.25" square, easily fitting 4 people, and a few more can be squeezed in if needed.
The legs and bottom are real wood, and the sides and top are laminate. I've read that the laminate is Formica, but I can't say for sure. If it's not clear from the lighting in the photos, the top is a darker brown with a slight reddish tint. The table shows some normal wear and tear, such as weathering on the legs, from age, but it's still in great condition.
