Our bathroom doesn't have any windows. To make things worse, to get the humidity out, the light switch also controls the incredibly loud fan. This means that you cannot have the lights on without the fan starting up. There's no room for a tablelamp in the bathroom so this means that if it's time to relax, the use of candles must be employed.

what a bummer about the light/window situation! wish i could find an east side source for cheaper fancy candles...they're even expensive when i look for them online! my little apartment on Mar 10, 2008

btw you could hang a small chandelier in the bathroom and it would't take any counter or floor space. they come in all kinds of styles so i'm sure you could find one that fit yours and then you could have proper light with no fan erinorea on Mar 10, 2008
