We're used to having to eke out a modern vibe for our houseplants and patio using pots and plants from more traditional and country-style garden stores. It's not that it's terribly difficult to accomplish — multiples and succulents go a long way — but it is such a breath of fresh air to visit Urbanweeds, where modern indoor and small-space gardening is the central concept.

This looks like a great shop -- one that I'd love to have in San Francisco.

One thing though, it would be nice -- now that you guys are covering much more than just the San Francisco area -- to have a shop's location listed above the jump rather than after. It's kind of a pain to click through and find that a cool place like this isn't accessible because of location. I'd rather just skip over those.

Just a thought! noarch on Jun 23, 2008
