The Teaism Shop in Penn Quarter carries lovely items to help you enjoy tea, which also happen to serve as home accessories. The store has teapots, cups, bowls, books on tea, and, of course, a wide selection of wonderful loose-leaf tea. We especially like the beautifully-papered boxes meant to hold tea but useful for lots of other things too. More photos and info below the jump...

Ching ching cha is great and their food oh so delicious (and the owner is cyu-ute), but Teaism was my go to favorite with my best friend because it's Metro accessible. And when we couldn't even swing the time or money for the Metro (we were stereotypically broke students) we'd sit in the Ten Ren's in College Park, nursing our pots of tea by adding free hot water and daydreaming about Tea Cellar. desertacacia on Feb 11, 2009
