If you are totally neurotic about "clean," you have found heaven. Sparclean, aka Brian Appel, is a one-man operation with a huge amount of energy and an attention to detail that will knock your socks off. Photographer, actor and writer by trade, Brian loves to clean, does it part time, and will spread his enthusiasm for sparkling bathroom and kitchen fixtures, as well as floors completely devoid of dust, dirt or a hint of the improper. Brian's approach is also refreshingly old fashioned. Championing the Rubbermaid Handle Scrub Brush, and a hand picked tool box of cleaning items (that he will ask you to please supply - or he will buy them for you), and referring to his visits as "tours," he will start with an initial tour (2 - 4 hours) to get acquainted with your space, and then work with you to do specific weekly or monthly cleaning in the areas that need it most. When necessary, Brian will scrub the entire floor by hand, eschewing the mop for fainter folks than he. When we last checked, Sparclean charged $25 an hour with a minimum of 2 hours. PSM
