The idea had been brewing for four years: open markets in the South Village and Petrosino Square on Lafayette near Spring Street. It finally came to fruition on Saturday when Nina Planck and her company, Real Food, opened up two Real Food markets.

The cheeses carried at Murray's Gone Local are also available at the stores. Though I don't know the complete list of the cheeses available at the Real Market, the ones I do know are sold at both retail locations. Nonetheless, it's a great time.
