We love a rocking chair. There's something very meditative about its rhythmic movement that can wipe away the stresses of the day. President Kennedy's physican thought so too; the President was instructed to use one to relieve his back troubles and it soon became his favorite chair.

My mother rocked me in one of these. My folks still have it. Meanwhile, our family also has a Lincoln rocker, if you can possibly believe it. It's, walnut, or something.
