On Apartment Therapy
Did you ever wonder what that stuff was they sprayed around your house as a kid? It wouldn't kill you, but it was toxic and designed to kill almost anything else when walked on. Jeff Eisenberg, founder of Pest Away Exteriminating, found himself questioning his own exterminator and decided there was a better way to do it. 16 years later, Pest Away Exterminating has thousands of clients, including clubs, restaurants and superstars, who all only want it done Jeff's way. How do they do it? By taking great care to track down the source of the infestation and seal up all entrances and exits mice and insects take. Then they use a 99% fructose paste which will kill when eaten (not stepped on) by a tiny being, but wouldn't hurt a human if he or she ate a whole toothpaste tube of it. Using ultra low toxicity and putting their energy into stopping infestation at the source, they are able to guarantee their work for up to 3 months (as opposed to the usual 2 1/2 weeks or when your check clears). Rated the Best in New York last year by New York Mag and recommended by Urban Baby, a typical visit can cost $160, while an infestation intervention can run $200 and take 3 to 4 hours.

They did an excellent moth job in my apartment. Will keep them in mind for the future. Pat M965 on May 18, 2012
Finding the right company was perhaps the hardest part of getting of my moth infestation. Countless failed exterminations lead me to Pest Away and they were the only ones that could get the job done. Definitely appreciate the help and will definitely use them in the future. John66 on May 8, 2012
