Tempting, tempting. Pavilion is one of the antique shops in town that always seems to be full of inspired choices.

In response to Jennifer's post: sounds like you should probably head to Ikea or to the flea markets. Pavilion carries top of the line, one of a kind artistic pieces. They write books about the artists and designers that make the things which Pavilion carries. There are plenty of other stores in Chicago that charge more than Pavilion does. And if you really want to see expensive, go to NYC or LA and see what they are charging there for the same type of things - it will be 2 to 3 X as much as Pavilion. Pavilion is a bargain for the types of items that they carry. James on Aug 3, 2006

Pavilion is the best place in Chicago to get what you're looking for. Their prices are good, the owners are friendly and helpful, and the pieces they have are amazing. Definitely check it out while you're in Chicago and take your friends too! Noah on Aug 3, 2006
