FYI, The suggestion that the word posh derives from the term "Port Out, Starboard Home" while appealing is not supported by any known historical evidence and appears to be apocryphal.

A few years ago I called to enquire on Buffalo China availability and was surprised to get a recording, sending me to voice mail. After leaving three messages in a two week period and no reply, I gave up. Last Summer I went in with my friend who was purchasing some gifts and we were sadly dissapointed with the snobish demeanor of the staff.
