With our tiny new yard came mostly cement. We don't mind the lack of grass, but it just dawned on us that we could really warm up our outdoor space with an all-weather rug designed to live outside. Does anyone else subscribe to this in the summer?

Did you use a rug pad for the outdoor rug indoors? alakate on Aug 21, 2008

To be honest, the one we have loved the most was one we picked up were from Kmart in the Martha Stewart Line. She doesn't have any of them (atleast not at our local Kmart ) out this year...

I have a cousin who has taken their FLOR rug outside although they are super keen on cleaning it often, they power wash it once every other week instead of once a season. It's holding up well and looks great.

I have tried the one's sold at Target and World Market both with little success. They weren't bad, but they didn't last me multiple seasons. (With no shelter overhead at all)

There is always the suggestion of painting or staining a rug onto your deck so there is very little maintenance. Plus it gives you the visual weight that spaces like decks often require to truly feel like part of your home! sarahrae on May 14, 2008
