With a bright "no clutter" icon and all the useful information well organized on the front, we think she might just be as good as she looks. Goodbye Clutter, her company name, also has a useful website that includes testimonials, contact info and a full description of all the kinds of problems she can help solve, such as filing systems, photographs or collections of any kind. She is not only a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, she also belongs to a group we had never heard of: National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization. Yikes! Nancy is amazing: thorough, creative, encouraging, kind. I almost cancelled a zillion times in the week before she was due to arrive--right up to the morning of. There can be a lot of emotional issues in "stuff," and although I'd liked her in our initial meeting and subsequent phone chats, I somehow imagined she'd be insistant and heavy-handed when it came to the sentimental items I was on the fence about. But no. No judgments, no eye-rolling, not a hint of impatience. And she's so ingenious about ways to organize.
