Green acres is the place to be. Marston & Langinger opens their SoHo store today, and it should make for some delicious browsing, since it may be hard to take home a new greenhouse in a bag. The English shop's arrival in our fair city either signals the resurgence of what Martha Stewart started years ago, or they are very late to the party.

I have the ultimate wish-list from Marston & Langinger and I never thought I would! I prefer very modern furniture. However, there is a wood table and chairs that's so plain - it could totally fit with Alessi tableware. I love their fabulous mirrored wall sconces for candlelight - very elegant. They also have some really beautiful iron tables where you have a choice of stone tops. Who knew something so English country would have a few modern pieces worth plucking? The store itself is so beautiful to look at that it really is worth the trip to SoHo. Dawn on Nov 21, 2006

Wonderful store! If you're ever in Soho definetely check this gem out. Great for accessories, such as unusual hurricanes and lighting. If you're not into "all things British" everyone should be into their paint line that doesn't off gas and lasts forever! Even though I can't afford a conservatory, at least I can still dream.
