Two years old, GRDN continues to inspire. GRDN came about when Susanne Kongoy, a chef, needed supplies for her 5-by-8-foot terrace, and set up shop herself. From that humble beginning, the shop has grown to not only serve the urban gardener, but also to "put nature back into your life," by selling pottery, birdfeeders, glassware and scents that bring the outdoors inside. We've been shopping here and walked out with much more than we expected.

What a fantastic store! Everything you could possibly need for your garden or, as in my case, deck. Not to mention the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. Virginia on Sep 8, 2006

I used to have the worst job ever, surrounded by some of the most awful people imaginable, in Bklyn Heights. I would walk to this store once every week or so, telling no one about it, just to have a few minutes of peace in their glorious backyard garden. Saved my sanity until I could escape from Brooklyn.
