Foragers Market is a sleek shop in hipster DUMBO run by Anna Castellani, the owner of the Dumbo General Store just down the street, and a few artists.

I love Forager's Market!!! I thought they were more expensive the Peas and Pickles with standard ordinary grocieres until I started to compare prices and they are not!!! Peas and Pickles was more expensive on most Items, You can not walk out of that marker without someone asking you at least twice if you need assistance with anything, Which is amazing for the state of new york which does not have very good customer service, I think before we complain we should really check things out, I live in Dumbo and relieved that I can walk a block for good food and help

Foragers may seem expensive to some people, but those are the folks that just want a cheap bargain, don't care about quality and should shop at a Pathmark. (No offense Pathmark). The quality is remarkable. They support sustainable, organic and small-farm agriculture. Rock-on guys. By the way, I live in Dumbo too. James on Jan 4, 2007
