It?s easier to Eat Local in Northern California than it is pretty much anywhere in the United States, but here?s a little store that?s pushing the cause in South Austin, Texas.

Verily, if you live in North Austin, you have to check out the Wednesday evening farmers market at the Triangle. Open late enough to stop by after work. Also, the Travis County market closed a year or two ago.

North Austin has a ton of international grocery stores. Just within two miles of my house are an Indian store, two Japanese stores, two Korean stores, a Chinese store, three Mediterranean stores, a couple Mexican meat markets (they don't have much produce though), and a general international store. mollyjade on Jan 1, 2010
