Interior Fabrics on Anderson Lane and Burnet Road is great too and I've been really impressed with the prices.
If you're looking for the mack daddy of all fabric stores and have an entire day to spend immersed in incredible fabrics, design elements, amazing furniture and overall heavenly goodness, do yourself a favor and take a trip to downtown Houston's "High Fashion Home" on Travis street: http://www.highfashionhome.com/.
