This is Misty, the other Austin writer. And YES, I have lived in Austin for the last ten years and went to college here before that. I am a local "interior stylist" with a stable client base and use favorite local resources. We are indeed Austinites, rest assured, and we do our best to cover the Austin style. We are always open to suggestions and you are welcome to e-mail us ideas. MistyforAustin on Jan 14, 2010

Thank you as also for your interest and comments! I'm adrienne and I've lived in Austin for 2 and half years now. When I first moved here I worked at an awesome furniture store downtown (IF D; I've never posted about it because I thought I would be too biased! Misty will be covering it soon). After that I started my own interior design consulting business and certainly had a fun time exploring all the amazing Austin design resources this city!
I only post stuff that I truly love, and it's hardly ever stuff that anyone emails me about. It's usually things I've found myself, Extraordinaire included! In fact, the owner had never even heard of Apartment Therapy when I asked if I could snap photos. I love this store, love it. It's local, it's small, and the owners carry some amazing products. I truly believe it would be a great place to find unique home decor items.
As Gregory said, if we haven't featured your favorite store yet, just stay tuned! I promise between myself and Misty we'll cover it. I had actually just written down Breed & Co. as my next store post idea, strangely enough! Thank you for the suggestion. adriennebreauxdotcom on Dec 2, 2009
