Have you ever wondered where stockists at the cute vintage boutiques go to get their wares? No, those things weren't left to them by cool blue-haired aunties. Englishtown Antiques & Used Furniture, about an hour outside of Manhattan in the green part of New Jersey, seems to be where all things in the universe are deposited.

this place is truly a gem. i grew up around the corner & now, living in Providence, I can't wait to go to Jersey to visit just so i can stop. yes, you have to dig. yes, there is junk. yes, some items are overpriced. you can totally barter with the owner & his daughter. their glassware, art, dishes, fill my house. i NEVER leave without something i love. noticeher on Feb 13, 2011

I finally made time to go down there and what a BIG disappointment it was. The place is filled with junks...i mean real junks. I couldn't believe I drove all the way down there to see junks. I do not recommend it at all and for the stuff they have, i think they have some nerve for charging whatever the prices they were charging because, I wouldn't take any of the items there even if they were free. I felt so cheated. MonicaK on May 30, 2010
