There is also an Emery & cie in Brussels. It is fabulous - It feels like walking into an Alice in Wonderland set only wonderland is in Brussels. The store has taken over an old palace tucked away in a courtyard that is closed in by a horrible high rise. The combination of the beautiful paints, tiles and wall papers and the crumbling palace with its grand staircase is magical.
The atmosphere is mysterious and the colors are gorgeous.
