If you're at all interested in antiques, we have one word of advice, regarding Da Barn: Go. Located less than two hours from Chicago in New Buffalo, Michigan, this old barn is a scavenger's heaven. The prices are reasonable and the inventory seems endless.

Thanks for the warning, I'm headed to Edwardsburg (45 mins east) to visit my Grandma this weekend and thinking of stopping here. Now, I know it's not worth the trip. Guess I'm going to have to continue to spend hours on CL to find my bargains

Walking in this place was like walking into my Grandparents home! I loved it.The way the store was grouped by color and/or item made the place even more charming. On the other hand, the owners at Da Barn know what they have, and have priced it accordingly x 10. swtgeekyscigal on Jul 9, 2008
