i went to this for the first time in may and i have to say i was extremely disappointed. everything seemed ridiculously overpriced compared to other antique markets i've been to both here and in the atlanta area. and on top of that, the vendors were RUDE, openly mocking customers who didn't buy after inquiring about the price. i saw this happen several times throughout the day. i very much prefer wolff's flea market in rosemont - there's a lot of cheap crap there, but there are some real gems to be fount as well, and cheap - i've heard that that is where a lot of the chicago antique market sellers find their stuff. aaron on Jul 31, 2006

Can't make it this weekend. I've never been to the market before, and I didn't want to go alone so I made it a mypeopleconnection.com event for August ! Maybe I will be able to find an inexpensive bombe-ish shaped dresser I've been searching for. I keep envisioning this one chest by Z Gallerie that was in a silver finish as inspiration ...
