"Plastics, son." Summing up what is good about Canal Plastics is easy, they have everything you need if you are building or fabricating out of plastic. A landmark for those wanting to install sliding doors, create clear shelving or building their own furniture, Canal Plastics has tubing, acrylic, sheets, foils, specific intricate pieces and will do all custom jobs.

I've only been to canal plastics once and despite my indecisiveness and odd order, they were pretty nice to me. It seems like the place to go if you know what you need and don't wish to speak to anyone for an extended amount of time. However, I've seen places on the internets that do custom orders for much less money, shipping included, than canal. Then there's the benefit of accuracy when picking out what you need from drop down menus instead of trying to bridge the language gap. I'd like to be all "support local business" but when it comes to plastics, cash rules everything around me. bryan on Mar 5, 2007

Hi. emily. Good to hear Industrial Plastic is still around. Your store had been my one stop shop for plastics when you were in Canal St. Do you plan to open again in NYC? It is a lot more convenient for me and I believe to others as well.
