On Apartment Therapy
In and out of the closet. Everyone we know hates California Closets! They are expensive and they aren't particularly creative. But what is your alternative?? Though we haven't used them yet, we like Bill Skinner from Astech Closets (not AZtech, for some reason), and have recommend them because we like to support the local guys. We also think it helps to get a second opinion.

I called Astech for a consultation. Bill, the owner, did call me back promptly the next day to schedule an appointment for an estimate. However, the earliest day available was a week later which I agreed to, even though every other company was able to accomodate an initial meeting within a day or two of my call. I had read such wonderful comments about the company on this blog I figured it was worth the wait. The day of my appointment came and Bill was a no show. I called within the hour of the appointment to follow-up and now, five days later, am still awaiting the courtesy of a phone call to explain the no show after I waited a week for the appointment. Their work may be good but reliability is critical for me and from what I have experienced so far, I am not impressed. nyc decor on Dec 23, 2008
