Vintage meets New and windows fog up. "Understated luxury" coupled with "clean, modern... and traditional" are the mouthful of words used to describe this SoHo fixture, which continues to set the standard for downtown chic. Indeed, owner, Thomas O'Brien, has a unique eye for mixing mid-century modern with antiques from around the world, while keeping everything light and soft. O'Brien recently did Giorgio Armani's apartment so don't expect plebian prices. Furniture gallery is upstairs, while accessory shop is down.
