Designed by fairies. We stumbled into Acorn last Christmas and felt like we were stepping back in time; back to a time when toys didn't need batteries and swords were the weapon of choice.

love this shop!! the selection is wonderful, different and fanciful and the owners/staff are so sweet and helpful. abitare on Sep 7, 2008

This particular item is way overpriced here. I saw this particular toy in the kids section of abc carpet and home in Manhattan too which was also very costly. I am hoping that Acorn will not be outrageous like the store abc or Kido in the city. All of those items are cheaper to buy online from different sources. Why can't anyone make affordable wood toys? The montessori and waldorf methods should not be only for the upper class. Mrs.S on Sep 8, 2006
