A to Z

For the man who has everything. In seeking out the fancy, we also found the plain, but it is stores like these that often yield treasure. A to Z: Books and Ephemera shares space with Reverse in Park Slope, but it is definitely A to Z that has stamped the character of this store (small slideshow). Owned and run by Peter Poncucci, a longtime store owner on the Slope, A to Z sells everything you see in the picture at right: lighting, chairs, books, art, bookcases, magazine racks, and dinnerware: glasses, plates and such. While we wouldn't necessarily say that A to Z is a shopping destination, if you are looking for some odd piece - especially lighting - it is worth sticking your head in and seeing what Peter's got cooking.
