12 McCobb Planner Dining Chairs

Here's a Daily Find and a Daily Tip combined: I found one of my favorite MidC Modern chairs, Paul McCobb's planner dining chair, manufactured by Winchedon Furniture, in a set of twelve, bringing the average price per chair down to $400.

Now, the chairs are maple with a clear coat, which doesn't make them look their best. I recommend painting them with a clean light coat

of color (see it done in this post: Look! McCobb Planner Chairs (Painted White)), and then selling four to eight as a set to pay for what you keep.
